The finals for the 2011 DMC World DJ Championship were held in London a couple of weeks ago, drawing together finalists from all corners of the world to compete for the most esteemed prize in DJing.

The event was held over two nights, and Serato were there to be a part of all the action. This year was the first time that competitors were allowed to use digital vinyl systems including Serato Scratch Live in their routines, pushing the standards of every set even higher.

The big winner was DJ Vajra from the US who performed a jaw-droppingly impressive routine, the closer of which you can watch here. Vajra also took home the much talked about gold-plated Rane Sixty-Eight mixer and the 2011 DMC World DJ Champion title
